In one of those "haha those dumb newspeople"-"I'm ignoring that I have the gift of hindsight" moments, apparently the likes of BBC News, NYTimes.com, the Chicago Tribune and more used this photo on their front pages before someone realized it was a fake. The NYTimes post about this mishap is here.
